Walker: 6 - 8 pm (From City of Walker: Pendarvis Lane, Bryan Park Drive and Magnolia Drive will be closed to the public during this time to protect all homes, subdivisions and adjoining streets that were devastated by the recent flooding.   Private gatherings and trick or treating amongst residents of those areas are acceptable, just closed to the public for that time period.  All other areas of the City will be open for Trick or Treating for those neighborhoods that are participating during these hours.)

Trick or Treat Village at the Holy Ghost Fair

Date: Saturday, October 29, 2016
Time: 5:30-7:30 pm
Location: Holy Ghost Fair at Holy Ghost Catholic School (507 N. Oak Street, Hammond)
Cost: $3 per person

The annual Holy Ghost Fair will be held Friday-Sunday, Oct. 28-30. There will be a “Halloween Trick-or-Treat Village” on Saturday night. This non-scary trick-or-treating event is perfect for little ones. Family-friendly costumes are encouraged.  

BooFest at Lakeview Regional

Date: Saturday, October 29, 2016 
Time: 10 am - 3 pm
Location: Lakeview Regional Medical Center, 95 Judge Tanner Blvd., Covington LA

This popular event benefits children with disabilities and their families, but is open to children of all abilities. Gates open at 9:00 am for special needs families, followed by the general public at 10:00 am.

There are more than 70 trick-or-treat houses or castles for the kids to visit. There are also lots of activities including pumpkin decorating, face painting, all abilities games, complimentary photo booth, music and dancing and much more. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and take part in costume contest.

Tangipahoa and St. Helena Night Out Against Crime

The night will include law enforcement and K-9 demonstrations, a hot wing cook off challenge, runs, races and other activities.  There will also be sack races, three-legged races, egg tosses, spacewalks, balloons, face painting, games giveaways, dunk-a-deputy and much more. Children 12 and under can enjoy a costume contest and booth-to-booth trick-or-treating. The event is focused on building strong, positive police-community partnerships.

The Well UMC and First UMC Ponchatoula invite you to a fun fall event for the whole family! Trunk or Treat begins and 4 pm, followed by a chili cook-off and dessert contest. Throughout the evening you can also tour our 'Spooky Swamp' and dance at the 'Monster Mash.'

Trunk or Treat at Madisonville Ball Field

Jaycees Trunk or Treat in Ponchatoula

Date: Monday, Oct. 31, 2016

This annual event is held on Halloween night from 6 - 8 pm at Memorial Park in Ponchatoula (also know as Strawberry Festival Park). Decorated cars surround the park for trick-or-treating fun! The Ponchatoula Jaycees host this fun, family oriented event with refreshments, candy, kid's costume contest,  best decorated vehicle contest, and Trunk or Treating around the park. Event sponsored by Ponchatoula Jaycees and the Strawberry Festival Board. 

You can also bring your vehicle decorated and candy to hand out!

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 

Costume Contest:  Be sure to register at the Jaycees table when you arrive if you would like to participate in costume contest. All ages are welcome and judging will be held at 7:30 pm.

SLU Fall Carnival & Trick or Treat with the Greeks

Date: Monday, October 31, 2016
Time: 5 - 7 pm
Location: SLU Pennington Center - 1350 N. General Pershing, Hammond LA (In case of rain, event will be indoors)
Cost: Free

This event provides a safe alternative to traditional door-to-door trick or treating. There will be games with prizes, candy, spacewalks, a balloon artist and more. Parents and guardians are asked to accompany their children throughout the event.

Southeastern Louisiana University’s annual Fall Carnival provides a safe alternative to traditional neighborhood door-to-door trick-or-treating. The event is free for the general public. Although children of all ages are invited to the festivities, the event targets children in kindergarten through fourth grade and will include games with prizes, candy, spacewalks, face painting, and much more, including the 'Trick or Treat on Greek Street' with SLU sororities & fraternities.

Swamplight Haunted Tours

Southeastern Softball Haunted House Fundraiser
