Boo at the Zoo in New Orleans
This annual extravaganza is a safe, fun-filled Halloween event for children up to age 12, featuring trick-or-treat houses with candy, Ghost Train (which can be scary for children and adults), a haunted house (scary and non-scary), games, entertainment and more. All games and treats, except concessions, are free with admission.

Ghosts in the Oaks in New Orleans

This spook-tacular two-night Halloween fundraising event hosted by the Friends of City Park offers non-scary fun for the whole family, including unlimited rides in Carousel Gardens, trick-or-treating in Storyland, arts and crafts, a pumpkin patch, airbrush tattoos, balloon animals, music and more! All proceeds from Ghosts in the Oaks go toward capital improvements in Carousel Gardens and Storyland.

Bring your family and your pooch for a day of fun sponsored by Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. There will be face painting, festival games, dog adoptions, and free dog wash.

BOO Fest in Covington

Admission: $2 each person
Enjoy more than 60 trick or treat houses and castles, which are wheelchair accessible.
Lots of complimentary activities, including pumpkin decorating, face painting, all-abilities games, music and dancing, a photo booth and more.
Kids are encouraged to wear costumes and take part in the contest for the title of 'Scariest,' 'Most Original,' 'Crowd Favorite,' and 'Best Group.'
Trickin' and Treatin' in Covington
Madisonville Trunk or Treat
Date: Sunday, October 25, 2015
Time: 5 - 7 pm
Location: Madisonville Ball Field on Pine Street
Come dressed in family friendly costumes - no scary costumes please!
Trick or treat and play games from trunk to trunk. Then play in the bounce house and the inflatable slide. There will also be free hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn.
Haints, Haunts & Halloween in Baton Rouge

Night Corn Maze in Baton Rouge

Location: Burden Center, 4560 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA
Admission: $10 (ages 3 and under are free)
- From 1 - 7 pm: Kids in costume can trick or treat.
- From 7 - 9 pm: There will be a bonfire.
Enjoy the corn maze and haystack mountain. Take a hayride, then try your skill at the giant sling shots. Enjoy an evening bonfire, corn dogs, s'mores and live music. Remember to wear your costume.

Trunk or Treat in Ponchatoula

Location: Memorial Park in Ponchatoula
This annual event is held on Halloween night from 5 - 8 pm at Memorial Park in Ponchatoula (also know as Strawberry Festival Park). Decorated cars surround the park for trick-or-treating fun! The Ponchatoula Jaycees host this fun, family oriented event with candy, kid's costume contest, best decorated vehicle contest, and Trunk or Treating around the park.
You can also bring your vehicle decorated and candy to hand out!
Trick-or-Treat Village at the Holy Ghost Fair
Date: Saturday, Oct 31 from 5:30-7:30 pm
