Hammond Square's Easter Eggstravaganza

Saturday, March 28 from 10 am - 1 pm 

Egg Hunt begins at 10:15 am

FREE event is the largest Easter event ever at Hammond Square, featuring Carnival Games, a Video Game Truck, a Petting Zoo, Face Painting and of course, the Easter Egg Hunt.

Hammond Junior Auxiliary Hunt 4 Health

Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Cate Square Park in Downtown Hammond

FREE - Come out and enjoy an Easter a Egg Hunt hosted by the JA of Hammond. There will be 2 bounce houses, Audubon Zoo will provide the Wetland Wildlife Express, and vendors will have several stations set up with activities for the entire family. More info at www.jaofhammond.com.

Super Lion Saturday Egg Scramble

  • 1 PM - Free Southeastern Football Game starts
  • 3 PM - Free Egg Scramble starts

The Mission ChurchChick fil A Hammond and Southeastern Louisiana University are partnering to bring the community a gigantic Easter Egg 'Scramble' event for families to enjoy!

50,000 eggs will be available for picking on the field at Strawberry Stadium at SLU.

In conjunction with Super Lion Saturday,  families are invited to the Southeastern Louisiana University Athletics Spring Football game (FREE!) at 1 pm and then join in for the 'Egg Scramble' fun at 3 pm.


Luizza Land - Easter Egg Hunts



Saturday, March 28 - Open from 10 am - 3 pm - Egg Hunt at 12 noon
Sunday, March 29 - Open from 10 am - 2 pm - Egg hunt at 12 noon
Cost: $5/adults and $10/children

Liuzza Land is now open for Spring and will feature Easter Egg Hunts the weekend of March 28-29. The Easter bunny will be available for photos. Other attractions are listed below, and Anna and Elsa from Frozen will also make an appearance. 


Easter Eggstravaganza in Amite

The Junior Auxilary of Amite presents the Easter Eggstravaganza event! Everyone is welcome to come out to this FREE event at Fleet Easley/North Park. There will be games, face painting, petting zoo, and  more! 

The Hunt - Community Easter Egg Hunt in Madisonville

Saturday, March 28 from 10am - 12 noon

Pine St. Ball Field in Downtown Madisonville (1007 Pine St. Madisonville, LA)

This free community event is sponsored by Northwood Church and will feature sno-balls, bounce houses, face painting, prizes, live music, and an Easter egg hunt with over 25,000 eggs.

Kids Town EGGStravaganza & Rubber Duck Regatta

This family oriented event includes food, entertainment for all ages, Easter Egg Hunts and the Rubber Duck Regatta in the Pond. All proceeds will go to the building and upkeep of Kids Town located on Koop Drive in Mandeville (an awesome playground!).

LCDC Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt and ZOOmobile

Saturday, April 4, 2015 -  starting at 10 am
Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center (113 N. Cypress in Hammond)

The LCDC's 2015 Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt begins at 10 am and will feature 1,000 eggs!  Special prizes will be provided courtesy of Chili’s. Then from 11 am – 1 pm, the Audubon Nature Institute ZOOmobile will visit. Come and enjoy hands-on animal encounters with species native to our area.

Cost: Regular museum admission rates - $6/person.

Easter Bonnet Stroll in Ponchatoula

Meet in downtown Ponchatoula in your best Easter bonnet - be creative and make your own! Ladies of all ages are welcome to stroll down the street of downtown Ponchatoula in their creations. Decorate your Easter Bonnet however you wish and join the stroll. Great family fun. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative bonnets.
