Location: Fontana Park, 53409 W Fontana Rd. in Independence

Fun for all at this free event that includes fireworks,  hotdogs, drinks and face-painting! 

PARD Independence Day Fireworks Show (Ponchatoula)

Monday, July 3, 2016 from 5 - 9 pm

Location: PARD, 19030 Ponchatoula Parks Drive, Ponchatoula LA
Gates open at 5:00 pm, fireworks at dusk.

Light up the Sky for the 4th of July (Hammond)

Tuesday, July 4, 2017 from 5 - 9 pm

Location: Zemurray Park, 400 S. Oak Street, Hammond LA
This free annual fireworks celebration lasting 20 minutes has more than 3,966 individual fireworks effects. The Light Up the Sky event draws hundreds to historic Zemurray Park. The event features inflatables for kids, train rides, rock wall, music, and food booths by local nonprofits.  Families may picnic in the park and playground areas.

Light Up the Lake: An Independence Day Celebration (Mandeville)

Saturday, July 1, 2017 starting at 4:30 pm
Location: Mandeville Lakefront

Join the City of Mandeville in celebrating Independence Day. Kick off the day with a special tribute to the military, followed by entertainment featuring Supercharger and Peace of Cake. Stay until dusk as we light up the lake with fireworks. Picnics can begin at 11 am, but no charcoal or glass containers. The Old Mandeville Business Association Food Court opens at 3:30 with a variety of food and beverages for purchase.

Madisonville's Old Fashioned 4th of July

Tuesday, July 4, 2017 from 2-10 pm

Madisonville is celebrating the 4th of July the old-fashioned way! Family fun for all with a parade, beauty pageant, fun run, kids games, contests, prizes and food! Bring your families and friends to the Riverfront in Madisonville for fun and memory making. Picnic baskets and coolers are welcome. 

  • Parade - line-up starts at 1:30 pm. Kids and adults are welcome in the Parade! Decorate your bikes, your trikes, your strollers, golf carts, trains, etc. and join in! 
  • Apple pie baking contest
  • Veterans Activities
  • Horseshoe tournament
  • Beauty pageant
  • Fireworks!
