Light up the Sky for the 4th of July (Hammond)

Monday, July 4, 2016 from 5 - 9 pm

Location: Zemurray Park, 400 S. Oak Street, Hammond LA
This free annual event features inflatables for kids, train rides, rock wall, music, food booths.  Families may picnic in the park and playground areas.

4th of July Celebration on the Lake (Mandeville)

Monday, July 4, 2016 starting at 4:30 pm
Location: Mandeville Lakefront

The community will be able to eat and drink on the lakefront beginning at 10 am.  Entertainment will begin on stage at 4 p.m. with patriotic recognition and celebration of all who have served and continue to serve our Country, followed by live music featuring Ricky Samson and Four Unplugged. The stage will be located between and Coffee and Carroll Streets. Food and drinks will be offered for purchase beginning at 4 pm by the Old Mandeville Business Association (OMBA) restaurant members. We will close out the evening with a festive display of fireworks sponsored by Chevron. Hope to see you there!

Madisonville's Old Fashioned 4th of July

Monday, July 4, 2016 from 1:30-5:30 pm

Madisonville is celebrating the 4th of July the old-fashioned way! Bring your families and friends to the Riverfront in Madisonville for fun and memory making. Picnic baskets and coolers are welcome. 

  • Parade - line-up starts at 1:30 pm. Kids and adults are welcome in the Parade! Decorate your bikes, your trikes, your strollers, golf carts, trains, etc. and join in! 
  • Apple pie baking contest
  • Veterans Activities
  • Horseshoe tournament
  • Beauty pageant
  • Fireworks!

Locatiom: Fontana Road Park (first left off LA 40 west of Interstate 55)

The event will begin in the afternoon and will include food and children’s activities provided by local churches and nonprofits. Fireworks show will begin at 9 pm.
