Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5 pm - 10 pm
Location: Zemurray Park, 400 S. Oak Street, Hammond LA
This annual event features fireworks, patriotic music during the show, and children's activities.

Ponchatoula Recreation Park Fireworks Show

Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5 - 9 pm
Location: Ponchatoula Recreation Park, 19030 Ponchatoula Park Drive (off Hoover Road)

Gates will open at 5:00 pm and fireworks will begin at dusk.
Entertainment will be provided from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

Celebrate America - Downtown Hammond

Madisonville's Old Fashioned 4th of July

Saturday, July 4 starting at 1:00 pm

Madisonville is celebrating the 4th of July the old-fashioned way! Bring your families and friends to the Riverfront in Madisonville for fun and memory making. Picnic baskets and coolers are welcome. 

  • Parade - line-up starts at 1:30 pm. Kids and adults are welcome in the Parade! Decorate your bikes, your trikes, your strollers, golf carts, trains, etc. and join in! 
  • Apple pie baking contest
  • Horseshoe tournament
  • Watermelon eating contest
  • Three legged race
  • Beauty pageant
  • Fireworks!

Mandeville Fourth of July on the Lake

Saturday, July 4 from 4 pm - 9 pm

The City of Mandeville and Chevron present a celebration of our Country's Independence.

  • Live entertainment begins at 5 p.m. with Rick Sampson, followed by Four Unplugged. 
  • Picnic food and drinks will be available for purchase beginning and 4 p.m.
  • Picnics can begin at 11 am
  • Fireworks over the lake at the end of the night! 


Sparks in the Park in Covington

Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 7 pm - 9 pm 
Location: Bogue Falaya Park, 213 Park Drive, Covington LA 

The free event is open to the public. Fireworks will be held at dusk. The community is invited to bring chairs, blankets and picnics. The Kiwanis Club of Greater Covington will have hot dogs and hamburgers available for sale, and Boy Scout Troop 160 will be selling watermelon and desserts. Free American flags will be distributed for waving and there will be free face painting for the children.
